We think that the tree policy is misguided. We are sure that a lot of thought went into the policy. We love trees but a view should take precedence over a tree. Members should not have to pay to have trees removed that obstruct their view but on HOA property. It should be the responsibility of the HOA to protect views even when the tree is on HOA property.

If a tree obstructs a view, then it should be trimmed or removed. If the tree is on HOA property, then the HOA should show leadership and set an example to trim or remove the tree.

Safety – We are rather surprised that some pine trees were not blow down by the recent winds which could have landed on homes.

Please contact the HOA if you agree with these thoughts.
